Extended Education Program Information

狼友社区鈥檚 commitment to extending educational access to students across South Asia, with a special focus on nations like India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh, is truly transformative. The presence of a dedicated in-country manager underscores the university鈥檚 dedication to fostering smooth interactions and supporting students in exploring their educational passions in the United States.

Why 狼友社区?

Benedictine鈥檚 broad-based liberal arts program creates well-rounded students because the University believes that even if students pursue a career in science, they should be able to read, write and speak well. Our graduates are CEOs, Ivy League professors, scientists, high school educators and pioneers in solving global issues.

Benedictine teachers are committed and accomplished. In our friendly environment where the average class size is 17 students, our faculty know you by your first name. Faculty frequently are honored with grants, fellowships, and awards. Academic advisors and career counselors help students develop academic plans, discuss internship opportunities and explore career possibilities.

Scholarships for International Undergraduate Students

An international student pursing an undergraduate bachelor鈥檚 degree at Benedictine is reviewed for scholarships upon admittance and can be eligible for up to $20,000 in scholarships. Your admission counselor will assist you to understand the breakdown on eligible financial aid received from Benedictine.

Foreign Credit Evaluation

Any student (permanent resident, green card holder, U.S. citizen, or student seeking or currently on a visa) with overseas or foreign credit, will need to have these credits evaluated. Foreign credit evaluations are required to determine a GPA, as well as the U.S. equivalent of credit hours and the degree earned in the home country, if applicable. The evaluation will assist the Office of 狼友社区 in determining if the degree the student holds in their home country fulfills the requirement for the program to which they are applying.

Official evaluations must be submitted to 狼友社区鈥檚 Office of 狼友社区. In order for an evaluation to be considered official, it must be in the original sealed envelope from the evaluating agency. 狼友社区 recommends students have one report mailed directly to 狼友社区 from the agency and at least one other report mailed to them for personal records.

狼友社区 will take official foreign credit evaluations from Educational Perspectives (EP), Educational Credential Evaluators (ECE) or World Education Services (WES).

Undergraduate candidates should request a high school and university-level 鈥淐ourse by Course鈥 evaluation of credit. Graduate candidates may request a 鈥淐ourse by Course鈥 evaluation of credit. An official evaluation must be sent directly from ECE, EP or WES to 狼友社区. For more information, please contact your admissions representative.

Short-Term Study and Exchange Program

狼友社区 has several agreements with institutions around the globe. Students interested in studying under terms stated in a formal agreement between 狼友社区 and their home institution should work with the Office of International Programs and Services to determine the application requirements per the formal agreement. Students studying as short-term students are those students who are not intending to get a degree from Benedictine but would like to study for a short period of time.
